John Chau: Day of the Christian Martyr

Today, on Day of the Christian Martyr, we honor the obedience of John Chau. He gave his life in an effort to share the love of Christ with the Sentinelese, an unreached people group on a tiny speck in the Bay of Bengal between India and Southeast Asia. He was portrayed as unprepared and thoughtless when news broke of his death, but when those who personally knew him were asked, he was described as the most prepared man they had ever met. He loved God and he loved the Sentinelese people, even to his own death. Pray for the Sentinelese to know the love and truth of Jesus Christ.
